This collection was created for a class project inspired by Cotton Inc.'s Blue Jeans Go Green initiative. This line is specifically geared to young juniors or teenage girls. These girls fall into the category of Generation Z, which are those born between 2000 and 2013. They are currently 40% of US Consumers as of spring 2020 and are slowly growing their spending power, currently valued at $44 billion. These teenagers are known for being, Health Conscious, Image-Driven, Comfort Seeking, Optimistic and Self-Assured.
This line was designed for the average teenage girl who is attending high school. Possibilities of dress codes were considered, and the comfort of the clothing silhouettes were a priority. The mood boards above were created during the fashion trends research phase.
