I acted as a temporary secretary for during the summers of 2017 and 2018. My duties expanded beyond secretarial tasks, as I also worked the front desk handling sales with customer service.

Undergraduate Research Assistant

Wilson College of Textile at North Carolina State University

Working as an assistant to Dr. Cynthia Istook, the goal of this position is to create a fabric library. This position involves collecting a large collection of fabric data, that is then integrated with technology to create a virtual fabric library to connect with a tangible selection of samples. Gathering this data involves; taking photos, measurements, samples, fiber analysis, and other various forms of fabric testing.

Assistant Designer

Working under the Lead Designer, my responsibilities included assisting on new designs through prototyping and patternmaking, using the Gerber cutting table, and managing the organization of available materials in the department. I was also responsible for smaller design projects and other creative requests from the CCO.

January 2021-Present

Technical Deisgner

Spiritus Systems

While maintaining responsibilities for smaller design projects, I work directly with the Production Engineer to prepare any new product for the Production Floor. This includes creating the BOM’s for all colorways, the addition of notches or drill holes in Instructional materials, product samples, and Tech Packs.
