UNIVERSITY
I attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. I majored in Fashion and Textile Management, through the Wilson College of Textiles, and concentrated in Fashion Development and Product Management. This program taught the pattern-making process and various sewing techniques, both by hand and computerized, as well as brand management, development, and promotion. The principles of textile technology and polymer color chemistry were also explored through this program. I also earned a minor in Business Entrepreneurship, where I learned Design Thinking in addition to the basics of accounting, management, and more.

HIGH SCHOOL
I graduated with honors from Gates County High School in June of 2016. I was a member of the BETA club and graduated as an NC Scholar. I took two of the three AP courses offered, English Literature and U.S. History. I was involved in several clubs, however most prominently with the Marching Band. I was a section leader and often dealt with large responsibilities dealing with leadership and management. I took the maximum amount of Technical Theatre classes possible in order to have a class that involved sewing. Through this class, I was allowed to create or alter garments for costumes in school plays.
